| 概要 | Yu and Hoff, Biometrika, 2018, constructed novel confidence intervals for the treatment means in a one-way layout. They assessed the expected lengths of these intervals using a semi-Bayesian analysis. I describe the revealing assessment of these expected lengths, using a fully frequentist analysis, that is provided in the paper. Kabaila, P.
