About JGMI

The Joint Graduate School of Mathematics for Innovation is established through the collaboration of the Cooperative Graduate Schools (the Graduate School of Mathematics, the Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, and the Graduate School of Economics).

This is a new degree program that provides an interdisciplinary education based on the curriculum of each graduate school.

There is no major in the JGMI so that the "Joint Graduate School of Mathematics for Innovation" is your formal school register.

A faculty member of one of the Cooperative Graduate Schools will be your academic advisor. (Please click here for about faculty members.)

Before applying, please obtain permission from your preferred academic advisor and indicate his/ her name on the application form.

It is possible to find a job at that time since a master's degree is conferred when completing the master's degree program. However, we are looking for students who wish to obtain a doctoral degree.
Please also refer to the "WISE Doctoral System for Mature Students."
