Admissions

To apply for this graduate school, you need to pass the entrance examination for one of the Cooperative Graduate Schools.

 However, if you have not received an admission result from the Cooperative Graduate School at the time of application for the JGMI, you may apply to the JGMI with your application to the Cooperative Graduate School.

 Screening by documents and an interview will be conducted.

No application fee will be charged by the JGMI.

(When applying to each Cooperative Graduate School, the application fee will be required.)

Applicants will be notified individually as to whether they passed or failed the examination, and the examination ID numbers of successful applicants will be posted on this website.

 Basically, the program is for 5 years, consisting of a Master's program (2 years) and a Doctoral program (3 years), but we also accept transfer students as PhD candidates.
