| Abstract | Quantum measurements are not only fundamental to physics but also essential for the advancement of quantum technologies. In this talk, I will first introduce the concept of quantum instruments, which mathematically characterize the statistical properties of measurements, and explain the definitions of error and disturbance, methods for their experimental evaluation, and major experiments conducted so far. Then, after briefly outlining quantum computers, I will present our recent research on evaluating error and disturbance using quantum computers. |
