Forum “Math-for-Industry” (FMfI) is now in its 15th year since it was first held at Kyushu University in 2008.
The Forum is currently held annually as an international research meeting organized by the Asia-Pacific Consortium for Mathematics for Industry (APCMfI), aiming to bring together mathematics researchers with various viewpoints to explore and solve problems in industry and industrial and applied mathematics together, and to conduct joint research and knowledge sharing. The FMfM is an annual meeting of mathematics researchers with various viewpoints.
FMfI, which started in Fukuoka, has been held six times overseas by APCMfI member institutions, and will return to Fukuoka to form the rising spiral of Mathematicsfor Industry (MfI) – MfI2.0. MfI2.0 – will be re-launched to form the “Math-for-Industry” Forum.

Forum “Math-for-Industry” 2023 (FMfI2023) will be held as a satellite meeting of ICIAM2023 to be held at Waseda University in August 2023.

FMfI2023 consists of a series of invited talks ranging from new mathematical ideas at MfI to large-scale joint industry-academia projects, and also aims to share various experiences of industrial mathematics activities such as study groups.

◎Poster Session
A poster session on the topic of MfI will be held on the afternoon of August 31.
Presenters are mainly graduate students and young researchers in mathematics and its applications.
