| Program | 15:30-16:00 ■Speaker：Mr. YASUHARA Manabu, Director Institute of Agricultural Machinery (IAM), National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) ■Presentation title: Overview of NARO 16:00-16:30 ■Speaker：Mr. KASHINO Masakazu, Researcher Horticultural Production System Group, Division of Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Research, IAM NARO ■Presentation title: Computer Vision and Deep Learning Technology for Agricultural Robots ■Abstract In recent years, there has been a lot of research and development on the application of robots to the agricultural field. We introduce computer vision and deep learning technology for harvesting operations in horticulture, and examples of agricultural robotics research being conducted by NARO. 16:30-17:00 ■Speaker：YAMADA,Satoshi Researcher Horticultural Robotics Unit, Research Center for Agricultural Robotics, NARO ■Presentation title: Examples of robotizing farm work and the relationship between robotic manipulator and mathematics ■Abstract Robotization of farm work involves not only making robots but also finding ways to grow crops in order for robots to work properly. As an example, I will introduce a robotic pear harvester and then the control of the robotic manipulator that was created using geometric modeling. This modeling method and movement creation method will also be introduced. |
