| Title | Activities for Utilizing Mathematics in Automotive Technology Research and Future Plans |
| Abstract | In order to contribute to the realization of a car life that pleases customers, activities for clarifying the mechanisms of various phenomena are carried out through experiments and simulations in automotive technology research. The phenomena surrounding automobiles are not limited to PT, vehicles, and material systems, but also include highly uncertain social environments and human information. To support efficient understanding of these complex phenomena, we need practical skills to utilize advanced mathematics and data analysis. Based on my experiences from my student days to the present, I would like to share with you the wide range of possibilities to utilize mathematics and what I keep in mind when I actually utilize it, and encourage good opportunities for future collaboration and exchange. |
