The Joint Graduate School of Mathematics for Innovation (JGMI) is co-organizing the Workshop on Interdisciplinary Sciences (WIS2026), an international event held as part of Kyushu University Asia Week 2026.

WIS2026 brings together students, researchers, alumni, and international collaborators for career development and interdisciplinary exchange. A common theme is the use of mathematical, statistical, and computational approaches across research fields, including data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, numerical methods, and simulation.

Students and faculty from JGMI and other disciplines are warmly invited to attend. The workshop provides a forum to explore applications beyond one’s own field, exchange ideas across disciplines in English, and share perspectives on international academic and professional experiences.
